This project explores the use of mobile phones as tools for creativity, within artistic and learning contexts, in Higher Education and beyond. It was conceived as a response to the ubiquity of mobile phone devices in everyday life and the apparent ambivalence of both educators and students towards phone use within learning environments.

This project is funded through The Leeds Institute for Teaching Excellence (LITE) - a community of research and innovation that provides funding, time and support for current and future student education leaders to carry out research and innovation projects with internal and external impact.

It is led by Dr Maria Kapsali and Dr Scott Palmer in collaboration with students, academics and researchers at the University of Leeds as well as other HE institutions and cultural organisations.
